We recently completed a project at an Eyeglass factory in Brooklyn, NY.
The electrical work needed to be performed within a strict timeline of 6 weeks because our customer was already paying rent on the space. There were also many moving parts to the project. The machinery needed to be delivered, installed and wired so the required electric needed to be in place.
In addition, we laid out a design plan that included designated spaces for offices, bathrooms, kitchen storage, and a manufacturing area. We wired all the offices and manufacturing machines within one week.
We also replaced several transformers throughout the factory. Transformers are used to step up or down the voltage needed in electricity. The original incoming voltage was 120/208 3 phase and the new equipments voltage is 120/208 380 volt with an additional 220 volts.
Since the completion of the renovation, their business has increased so much that their factory had to expand another 10,000 square feet into the suite next store for inventory, shipping and receiving.
